Finding Ones Way with Clay!

This camp session is for older kids who are interested in working with clay - creatingf functional pottery and sculptural objects. Campers will learn a variety of building techniques (slabs, coils, pinch, and wheel) and explore surface design - adding textures, carving and painting to their pottery. We’ll look at lots of art, meet other working McGuffey artists and have some creative, inspirational outdoor time as well! Other media may include painting, collage, colored modeling clay, beaded jewelry, All materials are non-toxic and food-safe. Meets daily for one week.
